Civil law advisory
Contracts, real estate, estates, and debt collection, to prevent conflict before it arises.

This service is for you if
You are going to buy or sell a property and you want to be sure that the registry record is clean.
You are owed money and the debtor has stopped responding.
A family member passed away and the succession and transfer of assets must be settled.
Your tenant is not paying or will not vacate.
You signed a contract that the other party is not performing.
You want to put your estate in order while you are alive, to spare your family the trouble.
Civil law governs most everyday relationships: the purchase of goods, leases, contracts, and the transfer of assets. Specialized advice prevents disputes, secures the performance of rights and obligations, and resolves the disputes that do arise.
What it includes
- Civil and commercial contracts: drafting and review of purchase and sale, lease, and services agreements, with clauses that protect the client
- Purchase and sale of real property: title search, document review, and support throughout the transaction
- Real property rights: use, usufruct, and easement
- Civil liability: compensation for damages, both contractual and non contractual
- Inheritance and succession, testamentary and intestate, and planning for the transfer of assets
- Marital property regime: separation of property and prenuptial agreements
- Obligations: performance, breach, assignment of rights, and subrogation
- Civil conciliation and litigation, with full representation in court
- Leasing of movable and real property, including evictions and claims
- Loan and credit agreements, and judicial and out-of-court debt collection
- Intellectual property protection: copyright, patents, and trademarks

Concrete deliverables, not promises
- Title study setting out the encumbrances, liens, and risks identified, before you pay
- Contract drafted or reviewed, with the comments explained in plain language
- Complaint, answer, or conciliation request filed, with proof of filing
- Intestate or testamentary succession processed and registered
What we need from you to get started
- Registry record of the property, if the matter is real estate related
- The contract or document that gives rise to the dispute
- Identity documents of the parties involved
- Birth, marriage or death certificates, in succession matters
If you do not have everything, that is no reason not to write. Part of the first conversation is precisely to identify what is missing.
What clients usually ask us about this area
At a minimum: that the seller is the registered owner, that there are no encumbrances or liens, that there are no court proceedings over the property, that the registered areas match reality, and that municipal taxes are up to date. A title study costs a fraction of what it costs to discover the problem later.
It may be possible, although it is harder. Everything depends on what evidence exists of the delivery: transfers, messages, witnesses, partial acknowledgments. Before ruling out the case, it is worth reviewing what there is.
It depends on the grounds and on the procedural route. A contract with a future submission clause (allanamiento futuro) and notarized signatures allows a much faster route than an informal lease, and that is decided when the contract is signed, not when the conflict arises.
